Job summary

Mapped is seeking an analytical Financial/Business Analyst to strengthen FP&A capabilities and support cross-functional business analysis. The role combines budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting with hands-on financial modelling of infrastructure projects and data centre economics.

Working with Finance, Operations and senior leadership, you will build financial models, analyze performance and translate complex data into decision-ready insights.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience across FP&A, corporate finance or related business analysis.
• Hands-on budgeting, forecasting and management reporting in a scaling, capital-intensive environment.
• Advanced financial modelling capabilities with strong quantitative analysis and problem-solving.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar quantitative discipline; MBA beneficial but not essential.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to annual and ongoing planning processes, including budgets and forecasts.
• Create and manage financial models for infrastructure projects (capex, opex, cash flow, returns).
• Produce quarterly performance reports and Board materials, highlighting variances.
• Oversee financial ratios, metrics and covenants related to project financing.
• Evaluate prospective projects, partnerships and funding structures through business cases and scenario modelling.
• Provide analytical support during due diligence for projects, partnerships and financing transactions.
• Turn data into concise analyses and executive materials.
