Job summary

Legacy FA Pte. Ltd. is building an asset-management business in Singapore. We seek an experienced Portfolio Manager to shape strategy, governance, and operating model, with responsibilities including licensing and oversight of portfolio management.

The role involves developing investment philosophy, frameworks and governance for the Investment Committee, and may lead to Executive Director opportunities as the business scales.

Qualifications

• At least five years of relevant experience within the fund-management value chain.
• Direct experience in portfolio management, investment research, asset allocation, securities analysis, trading, investment risk or other investment function.
• Demonstrable involvement in investment decisions and portfolio outcomes.
• Strong understanding of markets, products, portfolio construction and risk.
• Familiarity with regulatory/governance expectations for fund managers in Singapore.
• Degree in finance/economics/business or related field.
• CFA/CAIA or equivalent would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement investment strategies aligned with mandates and risk parameters.
• Conduct investment research and due diligence across markets and asset classes.
• Make asset-allocation and portfolio-construction decisions; oversee transactions and rebalancing.
• Monitor portfolio performance, market developments, and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare investment papers, reports and performance attribution analyses.
• Present recommendations to Investment Committee and management.
• Engage with clients, custodians, brokers and service providers.
