Job summary
DADACONSULTANTS PTE. LTD. is seeking a founding robotics engineer to own an AMR mobile base from proof-of-concept to commercial deployment in complex indoor warehouses. You will shape the technical foundation for a category-defining product and grow into leading a robotics engineering team as the project scales.
The role requires deep expertise in C++, Python, ROS/ROS2, and SLAM, plus hands-on hardware integration, real-time control, and cross-vendor collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Robotics/Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3 years in robotics system development with AMR/AGV focus.
- Expert C++ and Python with ROS/ROS2 and real-time control.
- Experience in hardware/software integration and on-site commissioning.
Responsibilities
- Own the full lifecycle of the AMR mobile base from prototype to deployment.
- Develop control software for communication between base and onboard payload.
- Define drive system requirements and integrate navigation sensors with ROS2 Nav2.
- Lead hardware integration including power, wiring, and safety systems.
- Manage supply chain and documentation for mass production.
- Conduct rigorous testing in simulated and real warehouse environments.
- Bridge navigation software with hardware, sensor systems, and drone team.
