Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC seeks a Manager, Forward Deployed Engineering to lead a high-performing team of Forward Deployed Engineers and AI Engineers across ANZ, driving data migrations, AI/ML platforms, and next-gen analytics initiatives.

You will partner with strategic accounts to migrate to lakehouse architectures, deliver GenAI capabilities, and ensure measurable business value from data investments, while shaping governance and delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of people leadership experience managing technical delivery teams or professional services with a track record of building high-performing cultures.
• 5+ years hands-on experience as a technical solutions architect or data/AI engineer, able to coach senior practitioners.
• Demonstrated success leading large-scale data platform migrations and AI/ML programs in enterprise environments across multiple industries.
• Strong executive presence and stakeholder management with experience navigating C-suite dynamics.
• Familiarity with Apache Spark, MLflow, Delta Lake or modern data/AI ecosystems; hands-on with related tools is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing team of Forward Deployed Engineers and AI Engineers at the forefront of data, AI, and GenAI transformations.
• Partner with strategic enterprise accounts to migrate to lakehouse architectures and deploy next-generation AI/GenAI solutions.
• Establish delivery governance, risk management and quality standards that scale with the practice.
• Serve as an executive escalation point to protect strategic relationships and drive timely resolutions.
• Mentor and develop talent through structured career pathways, technical coaching, and a culture of innovation and growth.
