Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Manager, Forward Deployed Engineering for NSW to lead a high-performing team of Forward Deployed Engineers and AI Engineers at the forefront of data and AI transformation. You will partner with enterprise accounts to migrate to the lakehouse, build next-generation AI and GenAI systems, and deliver measurable business value through data investments.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of people leadership experience leading technical delivery teams.
• 5+ years hands-on IC as a solutions architect or data/AI engineer.
• Proven track record of large-scale data migrations and AI/ML programs in enterprise.
• Strong executive presence and stakeholder management at the C-suite level.
• Familiarity with Databricks, Spark, MLflow, Delta Lake; hands-on with Databricks or competitors.

Responsibilities

• Drive regional performance targets across the ANZ FDE portfolio.
• Lead high-stakes enterprise engagements with executives and field leaders.
• Establish delivery governance, risk management, and quality standards.
