Job summary

Mission Systems, the AI arm of Mission Group, Singapore, is hiring a Forward-Deployed AI Engineer to deploy AI agents into enterprise operations. You’ll own deployments end to end, from discovery to production rollout, and measure business impact.

You’ll work with Launchpad and agent ecosystems, shaping the platform and roadmap with direct client exposure, travel, and partnerships across APAC. StrongHands-on coding and client-facing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Designed, built and shipped autonomous agents in production.
• Hands-on experience with persistent agents such as Hermes Agent or OpenClaw.
• Deep understanding of self-recursive, self-improving architectures.
• Belief in persistent agents that learn and evolve over time.
• Consistently building with a side project or fork in progress.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery with customer stakeholders to map workflows, systems and data, and identify where agents create the most value.
• Define the solution architecture and success metrics with the customer, then deliver against them.
• Build and deploy production agents on Launchpad, including agent logic, tooling and integrations with customer systems of record.
• Own each deployment end to end, from scoping and build through rollout, adoption and post-launch iteration.
• Design evals, guardrails and monitoring so agents perform reliably at enterprise scale, and diagnose issues from traces and logs.
• Turn repeatable solutions into reusable Agent Packs, Modules and deployment playbooks.
• Act as the trusted technical advisor to customers, from engineering teams to executives.
• Feed what you learn in the field back into product and engineering priorities.
• Frequent travel: to Australia, Hongkong, USA.

As a Forward-Deployed AI Engineer, you'll work directly with our enterprise customers to deploy AI agents into their core operations. You'll own deployments end to end, from technical discovery and solution design through integration, production rollout and measurable business impact. You'll work closely with customer engineering and leadership teams, and what you learn in the field will shape the Launchpad platform and roadmap.

Mission Systems is the AI arm of Mission Group, based in Singapore. We build Launchpad, a unified AI agent platform where agents work alongside people. We serve real-world operating industries such as food and hospitality, logistics, transportation and aviation, and manufacturing. Our first client was our sister company, Mission Hospitality, and we now serve several large enterprise clients across APAC.

Who we're looking for

You're already building at the frontier of agentic AI. You were early in the OpenClaw and Hermes Agent ecosystems, or you built your own agent harness because the existing ones weren't good enough. Further:

• You've designed, built and shipped autonomous agents that run in production environments.
• You've worked hands-on with persistent agents such as Hermes Agent, Prime Agent and OpenClaw, or an equivalent you built yourself.
• You have an intuitive understanding of self-recursive, self-improving architectures.
• You believe the future is persistent agents that keep evolving: they hold memory, improve over time and run for months, not single prompts.
• You're always building. There's a side project, a fork or a harness you're tinkering with right now.
• You're technical enough to go deep into the stack, and personable enough to sit with an executive and make it make sense.
• You think creatively and from first principles, and you have exceptional taste in what you build and how it feels to use.
• You own outcomes, not tickets.
• A very active github trackrecord and demonstrable portfolio of active projects you're working on. The funkier the better.
• Deep architectural first-principled understanding of object-oriented programming and domain-driven software design.
• Deep familiarity with the full agentic stack: TS/JS/React, NextJS, Python FastAPI, NodeJS.
• Plus points: previous forward-deployed, solutions engineering or founding engineer experience.
• Plus points: deep integration experience with APIs, data pipelines, authentication and enterprise systems incl. AWS, Azure and Okta.
• Production impact. Your deployments run in live customer operations from day one.
