Job summary

Cheng Chang Construction Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Formwork Supervisor to manage the formwork team on construction sites, ensuring works comply with local guidelines and safety standards.

The role requires reading construction drawings and coordinating with main contractors and sub-contractors, with emphasis on schedule adherence and quality control. Suitable for candidates with 5+ years of local formwork supervision experience.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of local working experience as Formwork Supervisor.
• Local vocational supervisor level certificate.
• Ability to read construction drawings, schematics and construction documents.
• Strong oral and written communication with main contractors and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Manage formwork team at site and supervise ongoing works.
• Track formwork progress ensuring safety and industry guidelines.
• Familiar with local practice for HDB, factory, condo etc.
• Prepare and monitor formwork schedule based on master program; provide updates in coordination meetings.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks related to projects.

Job description

Roles & Responsibilities:

• To manage building construction formwork team at construction site, inspecting on-going formwork works and overseeing formwork activities carried out on construction sites.


• Keep track of project formwork progress to ensure works are carried out according to safe work practice and following local industry guidelines.


• Experience and familiar with local construction practice and requirements for HDB, factory, condominium, etc.


• Prepare, review and monitor formwork activities works schedule based on the project master program and regularly provide updates through coordination meetings.


• Other ad-hoc task with related to projects.

Requirements:

• Possess at least 5 years of local working experience as Formwork Supervisor and are experience in supervising construction projects.


• Possess relevant qualification local vocational supervisor level certificate.


• Ability to understand construction drawing, schematics, and construction documents.


• Strong oral and written communication skills, able to communicate with main contractor, sub-contractor and workers.
