Job summary

JIN FU CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled formwork carpenter to fabricate and erect formwork/shuttering for columns, beams, slabs, walls and stairs on construction sites in Singapore. You will measure, cut and shape timber, plywood, and steel formwork panels and install supports as per engineering specs.

You will coordinate with steel fixers and concreters, maintain tools, ensure compliance with WSH regulations and deliver quality work on schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience with formwork/shuttering for columns, beams, slabs, walls and staircases.
• Ability to measure, cut and shape timber, plywood, and steel formwork panels.
• Coordinate with steel fixers, concreters and other trades to ensure proper sequencing.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and erect formwork/shuttering for columns, beams, slabs, walls, and staircases.
• Experienced in handling timber, metal and aluminium formwork.
• Measure, cut, and shape timber, plywood, and steel formwork panels
• Install formwork supports, props, and bracing according to engineering specifications
• Dismantle and strike formwork after concrete curing, and prepare materials for reuse
• Carry out minor repairs and maintenance of formwork panels and carpentry tools
• Coordinate with steel fixers, concreters, and other trades to ensure work sequencing
• Ensure all work complies with WSH (Workplace Safety and Health) regulations and site safety procedures
• Produce quality works and rectify works to meet clients' expectations
• Adheres to safe work practices and guidelines to ensure safe work environment
• Able to work independently and meet the given schedules
