Job summary

Qualifications

• Honours degree in Psychology, with Second Class Upper or higher preferred.
• Knowledge of psychometrics and study design methodology.
• Ability to develop research protocols for data collection (experiments, surveys, interviews, focus groups).
• Ability to collect and analyse data using quantitative and qualitative methods.
• Strong research skills and writing/communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and statistical analysis tools.
• Ability to work well in diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Formulate concept papers by reviewing literature on offending and related topics.
• Formulate research projects and surveys for implementation.
• Support procurement processes for research services.
• Communicate progress findings in written or oral formats to varied audiences.
• Prepare data requests, analyse data to understand trends, and produce research outputs (papers, slides, briefs).
• Develop and deliver trainings/webinars/seminars based on research findings.
• Assist with administrative tasks within the division and support leadership as required.
