Job summary

BGC Group Pte Ltd is seeking a dedicated Research Assistant to support forensic psychology and behavioural research initiatives. The role involves planning, executing studies, conducting literature reviews, and assisting with data collection and analysis across qualitative and quantitative methods.

You will prepare reports, decks and infographics for diverse audiences while collaborating with internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications

• Degree with Honours in Psychology or a related field.
• Interest or exposure in forensic psychology, criminology, behavioural science or related research areas.
• Strong understanding of research methodology, study design and data collection approaches.
• Experience in conducting research related to human behaviour, offending patterns, risk factors or social issues will be advantageous.
• Knowledge of psychometric principles and experience with surveys, interviews, focus groups or behavioural assessments is preferred.
• Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative data analysis methods.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, development and execution of forensic psychology research projects, including studies related to offending behaviours, risk factors, protective factors and prevention efforts.
• Conduct literature reviews and analyse local and international research to identify emerging trends and patterns in offending behaviours.
• Assist in designing and implementing research studies, including surveys, interviews, focus groups and other data collection methods.
• Support the collection, management and analysis of qualitative and quantitative research data.
• Analyse research findings to identify behavioural insights and contribute to evidence-based recommendations.
• Prepare research outputs including reports, presentation decks, briefs, infographics and other communication materials for different audiences.
• Support stakeholder engagement activities, including research discussions, webinars, training sessions and dialogue sessions.
• Assist with research documentation, project coordination and administrative activities related to research initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support forensic psychology and behavioural research projects.
