Job summary

Q.B. FOOD TRADING PTE. LTD. is seeking a production operator to support the food processing line. You will operate processing equipment, prepare materials, monitor quality, and ensure products meet standards.

Responsibilities include packing, labeling, storing finished goods, maintaining GMP/HACCP compliance, and keeping accurate production logs. Candidates should be able to stand for long periods and follow SOPs and supervisor instructions.

Qualifications

• Minimum secondary education or equivalent.
• Prior experience in food manufacturing or processing is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety practices.
• Able to operate food processing equipment and machinery, with on-the-job training provided where necessary.
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and handle materials as required.
• Able to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and supervisors' directions.
• Meticulous, responsible, and able to maintain product quality and cleanliness standards.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, or public holidays when required.

Responsibilities

• Operate food processing equipment and machinery per SOPs.
• Prepare raw materials for processing (washing, cutting, mixing).
• Monitor production processes and adjust settings to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Inspect raw and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Pack, label, and store finished goods according to specifications.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment following food safety regulations (GMP, HACCP).
• Report equipment malfunctions or product issues to the supervisor.
• Follow all workplace health and safety regulations.
• Assist with cleaning and sanitizing work areas and machinery.
• Complete production logs and reports accurately.
