Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Order Execution: Allocate processing tasks based on daily customer orders and develop daily/weekly production plans to ensure timely order preparation.
• Resource Coordination: Manage the allocation and usage of staff, equipment, and materials (e.g., packaging boxes, cling film) to support smooth production operations
• Progress Monitoring: Track production progress in real time, identify issues affecting output, and resolve them promptly to meet delivery timelines.
• Standard Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to SOPs for receiving, washing, sorting, cutting, packaging, and storing fruits and vegetables.
• Quality Inspection: Conduct random checks on incoming raw materials and perform 100% quality inspections on semi-finished and finished products. Remove defective or contaminated items to ensure all products meet customer requirements for specifications, freshness, and appearance.
• Food Safety: Maintain compliance with SFA hygiene standards (e.g., SS590). Oversee personal hygiene, sanitation of tools and equipment, and temperature control within the processing area.
• Record Management: Complete production records, quality inspection forms, and temperature logs accurately to ensure full process traceability.
• Task Assignment: Distribute daily tasks fairly among team members and clearly communicate performance standards and expectations.
• Training & Development: Deliver training on processing SOPs, food safety, knife safety, and equipment operation. Conduct regular evaluations of staff competency.
• Performance & Team Motivation: Assess team performance, provide constructive feedback, and foster a positive, collaborative team environment.

Job Requirements

• Experience: At least 1 year of experience in fresh food processing or operations management; familiarity with fruits and vegetables; proven experience leading teams of 10 or more.
  Core Abilities: Strong coordination and execution skills, fast learner, and effective communicator.
  Professional Knowledge: Proficiency in WMS system operations, along with basic warehousing and logistics knowledge.
  Computer Skills: Proficient in using spreadsheets and basic computer software to support operational tasks.
