Job summary

THE SUPREME HR ADVISORY PTE. LTD. is seeking a project engineer to oversee end-to-end engineering initiatives in a food manufacturing environment. You will manage planning, budgeting, installation, commissioning, and handover of equipment within the plant.

The role requires 3–5 years of project engineering experience in manufacturing, CAPEX project handling, and familiarity with GMP/HACCP and WSH standards. Singapore-based, with a day shift in Boon Lay.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of project engineering experience in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, FMCG or manufacturing environment.
• Experience handling CAPEX projects, equipment installation and commissioning.
• Knowledge of manufacturing utility systems will be advantageous.
• Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, FSSC 22000 and Singapore WSH requirements will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering projects from planning and budgeting through equipment installation, commissioning and final handover.
• Coordinate CAPEX projects, equipment upgrades and process improvement initiatives within the manufacturing plant.
• Review engineering drawings, P&IDs and technical specifications for project implementation.
• Provide technical support to Production and Maintenance teams on equipment performance and engineering matters.
• Support equipment reliability improvement, breakdown investigation and measures to reduce plant downtime.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule and within budget.
• Ensure engineering works comply with relevant WSH, GMP, HACCP and food manufacturing requirements.
• Maintain project documentation, engineering drawings, SOPs, risk assessments and commissioning records.
• Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency, operating costs and overall plant performance.
