Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Project Engineer to manage engineering projects from planning through commissioning at our Boon Lay site.

The role includes CAPEX coordination, equipment upgrades, and ensuring safety and quality standards in a fast‑paced manufacturing plant. Candidates should hold a related engineering degree and have 3–5 years of project engineering experience in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of project engineering experience in manufacturing environments.
• Experience handling CAPEX projects, equipment installation and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering projects from planning and budgeting through equipment installation, commissioning and final handover
• Coordinate CAPEX projects, equipment upgrades and process improvement initiatives within the manufacturing plant
• Review engineering drawings, P&IDs and technical specifications for project implementation
• Provide technical support to Production and Maintenance teams on equipment performance and engineering matters
• Support equipment reliability improvement, breakdown investigation and measures to reduce plant downtime
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule and within budget
• Ensure engineering works comply with relevant WSH, GMP, HACCP and food manufacturing requirements
• Maintain project documentation, engineering drawings, SOPs, risk assessments and commissioning records
• Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency, operating costs and overall plant performance

Job Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 3–5 years of project engineering experience in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, FMCG or manufacturing environment
• Experience handling CAPEX projects, equipment installation and commissioning
• Knowledge of manufacturing utility systems will be advantageous
• Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, FSSC 22000 and Singapore WSH requirements will be advantageous
