Job summary

SHENG SHENG F & B INDUSTRIES PTE LTD is seeking a proactive Purchasing & Shipping Executive to support its FMCG operations in Singapore. The role involves managing procurement, coordinating shipments, and driving demand forecasting to ensure optimal inventory levels and smooth supply chain operations.

The ideal candidate will handle end-to-end purchasing, shipping coordination, and demand planning in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely replenishment and accurate records.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field.
• Proven experience in purchasing, shipping, or supply chain roles.
• Experience in demand forecasting and planning in FMCG preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end purchasing activities including sourcing and orders with suppliers.
• Coordinate shipping, import/export docs, freight arrangements, and delivery schedules.
• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data and trends.
• Perform demand planning to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize stockouts.
• Collaborate with sales and warehouse teams to align supply with needs.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment.
• Track shipments and resolve logistics or supply issues promptly.
• Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
