Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd. is seeking an Assistant Manager, Manufacturing (FMCG) in Singapore. The role is based in Tuas with 5-day office hours and a monthly salary ranging from SGD 5,000 to SGD 6,000.

You will manage daily production, lead the production team and oversee maintenance, while driving productivity and continuous improvement initiatives. A mechanical engineering degree and 5+ years of experience in food production are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in food production/manufacturing.
• Knowledge of production equipment and maintenance.
• Experience in production planning and team leadership.
• ISO 22000 / Food Safety / Lean Manufacturing knowledge advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily production to meet output, quality and delivery targets.
• Lead and supervise Production team and manpower planning.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Support installation and qualification of new equipment / process lines.
• Drive productivity, cost-saving and continuous improvement projects.
• Support production trials and new product launches.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, ISO and workplace safety requirements.
