Job summary

Google is hiring software engineers to help build next-generation payments and AI-powered features. You will work on Flutter-based projects, review teammates' code, and collaborate across product, UX, and engineering to deliver user-facing capabilities.

The Payments team focuses on secure, seamless payments and money movement. Responsibilities include implementing APIs, integrating across the stack, and accelerating development with AI tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
• 1 year of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows.

Responsibilities

• Write product or system development code in Flutter for the GPay for Business Applications.
• Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
• Contribute across the full stack, including designing and integrating with server-side APIs.
• Collaborate effectively with product managers, UX designers, and other engineers to define and implement user-facing features.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance and accelerate development workflows.
