Job summary

Mogambo Bar & Restaurant is a vibrant nightspot on Boat Quay, Singapore, seeking dependable, hardworking floor staff/servers to join our team. You will attend to guests promptly, handle payments, and contribute to a lively, high-standard service environment.

Training is provided, and previous hospitality experience is preferred but not required. Stay calm in a fast-paced setting, bring a positive attitude, and work well with colleagues.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality is preferred but training will be provided.
• Ability to maintain a high standard of service and guest satisfaction.
• Cash and card handling experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers to a high standard by attending to guests’ needs promptly and professionally.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
• Apply product knowledge to upsell and promote offerings.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar and its equipment.
• Responsible for front of house opening and closing procedures.
• Perform inventory counts on beverages and other stock.

Mogambo Bar & Restaurant is a vibrant nightspot that's been at Boat Quay since 2011.

We are seeking dependable, hardworking and fun-loving Floor Staff/Servers to join our team.

Main duties include but are not limited to:

• Serving customers to a high standard by attending to guests’ needs in a prompt and professional manner
• Handling cash and credit card transactions
• Product knowledge and upselling
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the bar and its equipment
• Responsible for front of house opening and closing
• Performing inventory counts on beverage and other stock

• Industry experience preferred but not necessary as training will be provided.
• Transport and staff meals also provided depending on shifts worked.
• Salary commensurate with experience.

Ability to work and stay calm in a fast-paced environment vital.

A great attitude and interpersonal skills are a massive bonus.
