Job summary

SI YAN TEOCHEW DINING PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Floor Manager to oversee daily front-of-house operations, ensure a smooth service, and deliver an enjoyable dining experience.

You will supervise service staff, coordinate with kitchen and bar, manage reservations and guest flow, brief staff on the menu and standards, and handle guest inquiries, complaints, and payments according to company procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily front-of-house operations to ensure smooth service and an enjoyable dining experience.
• Supervise, train, and guide service staff, assign duties, and coordinate shift schedules.
• Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and guest flow to ensure efficient table turnover.
• Handle guest enquiries, special requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure accurate orders and timely service.
• Conduct pre-service briefings on menu items, daily specials, reservations, and service arrangements.
• Maintain high standards of table presentation, cleanliness, hygiene, and staff grooming.
• Monitor dining area supplies and coordinate replenishment of service items and beverages.
• Oversee billing, payment collection, and daily cash reconciliation in accordance with company procedures.
• Assist with private dining events, group bookings, and promotional activities.
• Ensure compliance with food hygiene, workplace safety, and company service standards.
• Report operational issues, staffing needs, and maintenance requirements to the Restaurant Manager.
