Job summary

GovTech Singapore is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data infrastructure that enables analytics across the organisation. You will work with business stakeholders, data analysts, and other tech teams to deliver robust data solutions across the data lifecycle.

Responsibilities include designing end-to-end pipelines, implementing quality checks, and ensuring governance and security. The role offers learning opportunities and a 2-year fixed-term contract in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in data engineering, data analytics, or related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end data pipelines from source systems to analytics layers (bronze, silver, gold).
• Develop, test, and deploy data pipelines with automated quality checks and error handling.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise data infrastructure for performance and cost.
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to meet analytical needs.
• Implement data governance, lineage tracking, and metadata management.
