Qualifications

• Must be a Class 1 Master Mariner with at least two years sailing experience.
• Experience with International Safety Management (ISM) system is required.
• Familiarity with ISO 14001 and 9001 standards.
• Knowledge of marine safety regulations and practices.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety operations of managed boats adhere to all international requirements.
• Oversee fleet's maritime and safety activities.
• Maintain and update the Safety Management System (SMS).
• Supervise adherence to laws and regulations related to maritime activities.
• Implement workflow modifications to enhance productivity.

Skills

Class 1 Master Mariners with bulk carrier experience

Knowledge of ISM system as a Designated Person Ashore

Familiarity with ISO 14001 and 9001

Experience with ship vetting and operations
