Job summary

JASS HOLDINGS PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Transportation Manager to oversee daily fleet operations in Singapore. You will coordinate drivers, vehicles, loads and journeys, ensuring accuracy of records and compliance with laws.

You will review budgets and expenditures, monitor driver qualifications and safety training, and communicate with customers to resolve logistic issues and maintain service quality.

Qualifications

• Experience as Transportation Manager, Logistics Manager, or similar role.
• Solid knowledge of supply chain management and transportation laws.
• Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Degree in Business, Logistics or related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the daily maintenance of vehicles in the fleet
• Keeping and transmitting complete and accurate records for each vehicle in the fleet
• Coordinate and manage drivers, vehicles, loads, and journeys
• Ensure compliance with company policies and transportation laws and regulations
• Resolve problems regarding transportation, logistics systems, or customer issues
• Review and analyze budgets, expenditures, and operations
• Monitoring driver qualifications and training to ensure all drivers understand and adhere to safety procedures
• Maintain detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspection and assigning vehicle repair and maintenance duties
• Communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction and discuss any logistic issues
