Job summary

CHIN MENG MOTOR SERVICES PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an Engineer-in-Charge to oversee the comprehensive maintenance of a corporate client’s fleet of 200+ vehicles and equipment at Changi Airport. You will drive reliability improvements and optimise maintenance planning while training staff on vehicle systems and procedures.

Additionally, you will explore digitising maintenance processes, including manuals, condition monitoring, and preventive maintenance initiatives to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent required.
• Fresh graduates welcome.
• Singapore Class 3 Driving License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Engineer-in-Charge for maintenance of 200+ vehicles and equipment for a corporate client at Changi Airport.
• Review and monitor reliability, failure causes, asset condition, and initiate reliability improvements and maintenance schedule updates.
• Conduct maintenance-related training covering vehicle systems, procedures, fault rectification, troubleshooting, and updates to technical documentation.
• Develop and propose initiatives to digitalise maintenance services, including digitising manuals and implementing condition monitoring and preventive maintenance initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Serve as the Engineer-in-Charge for comprehensive maintenance of a corporate client's fleet of 200+ vehicles and equipment operating within Changi Airport.

2. Provide fleet engineering services, including reviewing and monitoring reliability, failure causes, asset condition, and initiating reliability improvements and updates to maintenance schedules and plans.

3. Conduct regular maintenance-related training and instructions for staff, covering vehicle systems, maintenance procedures, fault rectification, troubleshooting, and updates to technical documentation.

4. Develop and propose initiatives to digitalise maintenance services, such as:

   • Digitisation of technical manuals for easy reference

   • Condition monitoring and preventive maintenance initiatives

Job Requirements:

• Preferably hold a valid Singapore Class 3 Driving License

• Holds an Engineering Degree or equivalent
