Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Lab Technician to expertly compound and test flavor formulations across savory, sweet, and beverage lines. The role emphasizes GLP, accurate weighing, and data integrity in a bustling lab environment.

Based in Singapore, you will work closely with the Flavorist team, perform approved tests, manage SAP-driven materials, and help drive quality and efficiency improvements in our flavor development programs.

Qualifications

• Diploma or ITE in food science or related field.
• Internship experience welcomed.
• Exposure to food/beverage flavor or lab environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Accurately compound and blend flavor formulations (powder and liquid) according to approved recipes across Savory, Sweet, and Beverage applications.
• Support flavor development by preparing samples and assisting the Flavorist team with formulation tasks.
• Conduct flashpoint testing and laboratory analyses per procedures and quality requirements.
• Use SAP to identify, retrieve, and manage raw materials for compounding and testing activities.
• Monitor inventory, coordinate replenishment of lab materials, and maintain stock records.
• Maintain complete documentation for raw materials, formulations, testing activities, and finished products.
• Apply Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) with emphasis on weighing accuracy and data integrity.
• Handle/store/dispose of ingredients, flavor samples, and waste per procedures.
• Maintain lab housekeeping to ensure a clean, safe, efficient environment.
• Comply with EHS policies and laboratory safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Support continuous improvement to enhance lab efficiency, quality, and operations.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned by management.
