Job summary

ThunderSoft in Singapore is seeking an experienced test engineer to drive and develop SLT FTR regression infrastructure, testing weekly firmware and software releases before integration to the SLT Test Program.

You will surface complex issues, conduct evaluations, and drive to resolution to improve SLT Test Program quality and integration time. You will mentor junior engineers and uplift team capabilities in low-level system debugging for data center product families.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering or comparable discipline.
• Strong knowledge of X86 and GPU architectures and SoC design.
• Experience with post-silicon electrical and mixed-signal circuitry.
• Proficiency with analyzers and oscilloscopes.
• Experience with data center infrastructure is a plus.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills; able to work with distributed teams.
• Programming and scripting in C, C++, Java, Perl, Ruby, Python.
• Proficiency with Windows, Unix, and Linux operating systems.
• 3+ years of industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive and develop SLT FTR regression infrastructure to test weekly firmware/software releases before integration to SLT Test Program.
• Surface complex issues and drive to resolution to improve SLT Test Program quality and integration time.
• Conduct engineering evaluations and analysis to close production issues.
• Influence technical decisions with significant product impact.
• Develop and apply new debug techniques to enhance technical depth in Product and Test Engineering.
• Provide technical supervision or mentoring to junior engineers.
• Upscale team capabilities on low level system debug for data center product families.
