Job summary

Cinvi Systems Pte Ltd is seeking a Fire Protection Project Engineer to liaise with authorities, sub-contractors, and clients. You will review design drawings for sprinkler, fire alarm, and related systems, align them to specifications, and manage projects to schedule.

You will also coordinate meetings, analyze discrepancies, and prepare handover drawings. The role requires a Diploma in Engineering, about one year of relevant experience, strong MS Office skills, and good communication.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering.

• Leadership, Construction, Project Management skills.
• Experience in Water Mist system and/or foam system is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Review and align fire protection design drawings to ensure compliance with design specifications and guidelines.
• Identify discrepancies between M&E, structural, ID, architectural and client provisions.
• Manage and execute project as per the schedule.
• Attend meetings with contractors to address issues and update progress.
• Study and review drawings and specifications for compliance.
• Allocate work to supervisors and ensure jobs are correctly and properly achieved within standards and SOP.
• Plan and lead testing and commissioning of the fire protection systems.
• Follow up with site and authority inspections and defects rectifications of the fire protection works.
• Plan and prepare OMM, training and As-Builts drawings for handover of completed fire protection systems to client.
• Follow up with maintenance of fire protection systems during DLP.

About the role

This role involves liaising and working with relevant authorities, sub-contractors and clients on shop drawings, materials and samples. You will review and align fire protection design drawings to ensure compliance with design specifications and guidelines across Sprinkler Systems, Fire Alarm Systems, Hosereel Systems, Wet/Dry riser systems, Fire Hydrant Systems, and Fireman intercom systems. You will manage and execute projects as per schedule, identify discrepancies between M&E, structural, ID, architectural and client provisions, and attend meetings with contractors to address issues and update progress.
