Job summary

Hytech is expanding its Singapore legal team and seeks a Legal Associate to support a group of Singapore-qualified lawyers advising on sophisticated FinTech and financial services matters.

In this hands-on role you will contribute to licensing, regulatory advisory work, and cross-border projects across multiple jurisdictions, including derivatives broking, payments, and financial markets. Fresh graduates will also be considered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law from Singapore or other jurisdictions; bar qualification is a bonus.
• Strong interest in FinTech, financial regulation, payments and derivatives.
• Excellent legal research, drafting, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Legal Counsels on FinTech, payments and financial services legal matters.
• Assist with licensing, regulatory advisory work, and contractual matters across multiple jurisdictions.
• Work on legal and regulatory issues relating to derivatives broking, payments and financial markets.
• Draft, review, and analyse legal documentation, policies, and regulatory submissions.
• Conduct legal research and provide practical, solution‑oriented support.
• Work collaboratively with legal, compliance, and business teams as part of a wider function.
