Job summary

Maybank's FinTech & Innovation team seeks a senior professional to identify, evaluate, and cultivate strategic fintech partnerships across the region. You will bridge FinTechs with internal stakeholders, driving initiatives from opportunity sourcing through PoC execution and commercialization.

The role offers exposure to emerging technologies, fintech ecosystems, and multi-market business stakeholders. 5–8 years in banking/FinTech and strong relationship-building are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Technology, Engineering, or Computer Science.
• 5–8 years of experience in Banking, FinTech, Digital Transformation, Innovation, or Partnerships.
• Solid understanding of FinTech business models and digital ecosystems.
• Experience working with FinTechs, startups, vendors, or strategic partnerships.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and drive initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage fintech startups, providers, accelerators, VCs, and ecosystems.
• Conduct landscape assessments across Payments, AI, RegTech, and more.
• Evaluate solutions against business, regulatory, and operational needs.
• Build business cases and value props for fintech partnerships.
• Lead end-to-end PoCs and pilot initiatives.
• Coordinate with Technology, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Procurement, and Biz teams.
• Support commercialization and long-term partnership development.
• Prepare management reports, dashboards, and governance updates.
