Grant Thornton Singapore is seeking a Financial Due Diligence professional to join our Deal Advisory team. In this role you will assist senior staff on client engagements, analyze financial data, and prepare reports for deal decisions.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• 2+ years of relevant experience for the Senior Associate role, preferably in a professional services environment with exposure to M&A Advisory and/or Financial Due Diligence.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience for the Assistant Manager role with mentoring experience.
• Experience engaging with external clients and stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data interpretation and insights development.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities:

• Populate and analyze financial data to support due diligence engagements
• Prepare detailed reports, schedules, and deliverables for clients and stakeholders

• Contribute to client presentations by synthesizing findings into clear, actionable insights

Financial Due Diligence Assistant Manager responsibilities also include:

• Support the management and delivery of client engagements, coordinating day-to-day activities to meet project timelines
• Establish effective working relationships with clients and other stakeholders throughout due diligence engagements
• Coordinate engagement activities and liaise with clients to obtain information and address queries
• Review the work of junior team members, providing guidance and feedback to ensure the quality and accuracy of deliverables

Qualifications & requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance or a related field
• At least 2 years of relevant experience for the Senior Associate role, preferably in a professional services environment, with exposure to M&A Advisory and/or Financial Due Diligence
• At least 4 years of relevant experience for the Assistant Manager role, preferably in a professional services environment, with exposure to M&A Advisory and/or Financial Due Diligence, as well as experience in mentoring and providing guidance to junior team members
• Experience engaging with external clients and stakeholders
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, generate insights and develop solutions
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
