Job summary

Binance seeks a senior data engineer to build the core data foundation for stock and financial market products. You will own end-to-end data pipelines, from source discovery to real-time processing and governance, enabling reliable trading and AI capabilities across markets.

Collaboration with product, procurement, legal, and compliance is essential to define usage and data contracts. You will design scalable data models, ensure data quality, and drive CI/CD improvements while supporting

Qualifications

• Master's degree or above in computer science, software engineering, math, stats, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data development, big data, or data platforms.
• Proficient in SQL and Flink with large-scale real-time data processing.
• Proficient in Java, Scala, or Python; familiar with distributed storage/analytics tech.

Responsibilities

• Research, evaluate, ingest, and provision financial market data into unified pipelines.
• Design scalable data models and integration frameworks for multi-market data.
• Build batch-stream data pipelines centered on Flink to optimize latency and cost.
• Establish data quality and service level frameworks with monitoring and alerts.
• Evaluate sources and coordinate usage boundaries with product, legal, and compliance.
• Define data semantics and contracts with trading product, data platform, and AI teams.
• Drive efficiency and quality improvements including metadata, lineage, and CI/CD.
