The role ensures timely monthly closings, robust internal controls, and coordination of audits, tax filings, and corporate secretarial matters. Responsibilities include financial reporting, audits, GST submissions, governance liaison, banking relations, and leading a small team to maintain strict compliance and accurate financial records.

• Experience coordinating statutory audits and tax filings.

Responsibilities

• Financial Management & Reporting: Manage the full set of accounts and oversee monthly financial closing activities, ensuring accurate preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Audit & Compliance: Coordinate statutory audits with external auditors, prepare audit schedules, and resolve audit queries efficiently.
• Taxation & Statutory Filings: Prepare and submit GST returns timely; collaborate with tax agents for annual tax filings.
• Corporate Governance: Liaise with corporate secretaries on annual returns, board resolutions, and other secretarial matters.
• Banking Liaison: Manage operational banking relationships and attend to ad-hoc and annual reviews in timely manner.
• Team Leadership: Guide and supervise staff to foster a harmonious workplace and efficient workflow.
• Internal Controls: Maintain and strengthen internal accounting policies and procedures to ensure strict compliance.
• Ad-hoc Support: Execute additional ad-hoc finance report and duties as requested by management.
