Job summary

ACCA Careers is seeking a senior financial professional to lead closing, compliance, and reporting for core entities in a global logistics group. The role offers hybrid work with two WFH days and three office days weekly at a West-area facility.

The candidate will own GL and balance sheet integrity, coordinate period-end processes, and ensure alignment with global frameworks. CPA and 4+ years in auditing or accounting are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in accountancy, finance, or business.
• CPA credential required; at least four years of auditing or full-spectrum accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger operations and full-set accounting tasks.
• Prepare period-end journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and GL checks.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting in corporate consolidation systems.
• Lead annual statutory audits and liaise with auditors.
• Ensure local tax compliance and defer tax calculations.
• Develop and implement financial control policies and governance standards.
• Support cash flow forecasting and banking compliance.
• Drive digital transformation and process automation for reporting.

Take full ownership of general ledger operations, complete full-set accounting tasks, and execute accurate financial closing routines. Prepare period-end financial journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and general ledger sub-ledger balance checks while ensuring financial statement integrity in collaboration with planning teams. Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual corporate reporting submissions within corporate consolidation systems while aligning statutory entries with global frameworks. Develop, recommend, and implement financial control policies, research regulatory standards, and support self-assessment reviews to maintain corporate governance standards. Lead annual statutory audit engagements as the primary liaison, manage required audit adjustments, perform complex consolidation procedures, and draft complete audited financial statements. Oversee local direct tax compliance, property tax filings, and indirect tax submissions while maintaining tax provisions and deferred tax calculations. Support cash flow forecasting, term deposit placements, dividend documentation, bank compliance certificates, and financing administration. Drive digital transformation, data optimization, and process automation across enterprise systems to elevate reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.
