Job summary

MCI CAREER SERVICES PTE. LTD. in Singapore invites an experienced finance professional to join our accounting team. Based at Tuas, the role focuses on month-end close, budgeting, forecasting and internal controls.

You will work with SAP and MS Office, analyze financial data, manage balance sheet reconciliations, and support audits and system implementations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Financial Accounting or equivalent professional qualification.
• 4–6 years in accounting/finance within an MNC; audit experience a plus.
• Strong skills in accounting, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Proficiency in SAP and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly journals and reconcile balance sheet accounts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly journals, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.
• Manage S&A reporting, expense analysis, budgeting and forecasting, including variance analysis and action plans.
• Conduct customer credit assessments, recommend credit terms/limits, and monitor overdue accounts and potential delinquency risks.
• Support audits, financial system implementation projects, and cross-functional business/administrative activities.

Skills/Experience Required

• Degree in Financial Accounting, certified accountant qualification, or finalist in a professional accounting qualification such as ACCA .
• 4-6 years of accounting and finance experience within an MNC ; prior audit experience is advantageous.
• Strong accounting, financial reporting, analysis, budgeting and forecasting knowledge.
• Proficient in SAP accounting and Microsoft Office , particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently, multitask and perform effectively under pressure.
