Job summary

Anglo American is seeking a Financial Accountant to join its Marketing Finance team in Singapore. The role focuses on delivering accurate Record to Report processes, supporting the monthly close, and driving improvements across ITP, ITC and RTR with close collaboration with Global Shared Services and other stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has strong accounting credentials, proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, and experience with SAP S4/Hana, Blackline, and other ERP/FTS tools.

Qualifications

• Excellent academic credentials in Accountancy and other business-related degrees.
• Solid business and financial acumen through formal training or experience.
• Familiar with Lean Six Sigma methodologies and process improvement.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive efficient and effective Finance operations across ITP/ITC/RTR workstreams and ensure transactions are recorded correctly.
• Deliver monthly financial results, board papers and regulatory reporting with accuracy and timeliness.
• Lead continuous improvement, automation and standardization of finance processes.
