Job summary

Optimum Solutions Pte Ltd, headquartered in Singapore, is seeking a senior Business Analyst to join the technology and operations division of our premier banking client. You will collaborate with business specialists to elicit requirements, design functional specs, and support testing across SIT/UAT to ensure delivery of finance-related initiatives.

The role requires 10 years of BA experience in finance, strong data management knowledge, and mastery of Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and JIRA.

Qualifications

10 years of business analysis experience in finance projects.
Proficiency in data management, financial systems, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Strong command of MS Excel (including Macros), PowerPoint, SharePoint, and JIRA.
Solid background in change management and project management fundamentals.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong leadership qualities and resilience for navigating complex challenges.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with business specialists to elicit, review, and validate requirements; assess impacts and analyse 'to-be' operational processes; define functional and non-functional requirements.
Clearly transition requirements to system analysts, maintaining end-to-end traceability to business objectives.
Review test plans, support SIT and UAT, and manage defect prioritisation and resolution.
Lead end-to-end project delivery; develop project plans and timelines; manage scope, budget, and resources; present status updates to governance forums.
