Lotte Duty Free Singapore is seeking a Finance role to oversee daily financial transactions, verify entries, and ensure accuracy in our financial system. You will compile reports to HQ in South Korea and liaise with the local team to improve reporting processes.

The role requires strong English and Korean communication, meticulous analysis, and solid Excel skills. Fresh graduates in Accounting/Business are welcome, with opportunities for growth and exposure to regional finance operations.

Qualifications

• Must read, speak, write and translate between English and Korean at professional level for reporting to HQ in South Korea.
• Fresh diploma or degree graduates are welcome to apply.
• Degree in Accounting/Business required.
• Meticulous and analytical with strong business acumen and finance savvy.
• MS Excel at an intermediate to advanced level.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily financial transactions, verify entries, and ensure accuracy across the system.
• Compile finance-related reports to HQ in South Korea and act as liaison with HQ Korea.
• AR Retail and Non-Retail, collection, reconciliation, and bank statement reconciliation.
• Support reporting, cashflow matters, insurance coordination, and ad-hoc projects.

This encompasses a range of tasks, including but not limited to, the verification of transactions, compilation of Finance related report to HQ in South Korea, and most importantly, ensuring the utmost accuracy of all accounting entries submitted by various stakeholders operating within our financial system.

Roles & Responsibilities

In this role, you will be entrusted with the critical responsibility of overseeing daily financial transactions. This encompasses a range of tasks, including but not limited to, the verification of transactions, compilation of Finance related report to HQ in South Korea, and most importantly, ensuring the utmost accuracy of all accounting entries submitted by various stakeholders operating within our financial system.

Moreover, you will act as a vital liaison between our local colleagues in Singapore and the finance team based at our headquarters in South Korea. This position will require you to facilitate efficient communication channels, thereby enhancing collaboration and operational effectiveness. You will play a pivotal role in improving system functionalities which are crucial for timely and accurate daily reporting.

ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE

• AR Retail Sales, Collection & Reconciliation
• AR Non-Retail / Non-Trade, Collection & Reconciliation
• Bank Statement Reconciliation & Reporting
• Back-End Collection Creation & Refund Processing

FINANCE SUPPORT & REPORTING

• Reports & Support / Liaise with HQ Korea
• Cashflow & Bank matters
• General Insurance Coverage
• Payment Terminals Arrangement & Follow-up
• Ad Hoc Tasks/Projects assigned

Requirements
