Bank of Singapore is seeking an experienced finance and accounting SME to support regional reporting, finance-related projects and system optimization within the Financial Management team.

The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams, implementation of core banking and GL upgrades, and creation of comprehensive project documentation to ensure business objectives are met.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in accounting or finance with a strong background in financial systems and project implementation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate project challenges.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance Projects Team, Front Office, Operations and IT to ensure finance-related project goals align with strategic objectives.
• Participate in project management tasks including the implementation of Core Banking System modification, GL upgrade and finance process optimization/automation.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation throughout the project lifecycle, including business requirements, user acceptance test scenarios/cases, business process workflows and timelines.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks, developing strategies to address challenges and ensure project continuity.
• Provide support to Regional Finance Management on all regulatory and statutory reporting requirements, including responding to auditors' requests.

We are seeking an experienced financial and accounting professional to join our Financial Management team. In this pivotal role, you will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing expertise and support for finance-related projects.

Additional responsibilities include providing support to the regional finance team on reporting matters.

• Collaboration and Alignment:


• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including the Finance Projects Team, Front Office, Operations, and IT, to ensure finance-related project goals align with the organization’s strategic objectives.


• Project Management:


• Assist in the implementation of Core Banking System modification, General Ledger (GL) upgrade and finance process optimization/automation.


• Participate in initiatives that support Front Office business objectives and enhance operational efficiency.


• Documentation and Reporting:


• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation throughout the project lifecycle, including business requirements, user acceptance test scenarios/cases, business process workflows, and project timelines.


• Risk Management


• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, developing appropriate strategies to address potential challenges and ensuring project continuity.


• Support and Reporting:


• Provide support to the Regional Finance Management (FM) team in all financial, regulatory and statutory reporting requirements, including responding to auditors requests

Requirements
