Job summary

ACCA Careers in Singapore is seeking a Finance Specialist to support day-to-day finance and accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance across financial processes. Qualifications

• Five years of relevant experience in finance or accounting in a commercial or corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting requirements.
• Excellent Excel skills and experience with accounting systems; Dynamics 365 BC is a plus.
• Clear communication and ability to build relationships with internal and external partners.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable and accounts receivable with precision.
• Process AP transactions: invoice posting, staff claims, and payments; liaise with teams.
• Process AR transactions: sales invoices and receipts; ensure entries are accurate.
• Coordinate intercompany invoice processing and posting.
• Prepare and post general journal entries with attention to detail.
• Develop month-end closing schedules and audit-supporting schedules.
• Generate group reports and ensure information sharing across departments.
• Ensure SOPs and accounting policies are followed in all activities.
• Assist in compiling documentation for external audits.
