Job summary

Methodist Welfare Services in Singapore seeks a Manager - Finance & Operations to strengthen financial accounting, compliance and reporting, ensuring the integrity of the general ledger and accounting systems. Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA/ACA preferred.
• 5–8 years in accounting and controllership; 3+ years in leadership; NPO experience advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore FRS and regulatory requirements (fund accounting, grants).
• Excellent communication and ability to influence stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• High integrity and deadline-driven in fast-paced transformation.

Responsibilities

• Close month-end and year-end; ensure GL accuracy per SRS.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Coordinate annual audits and statutory filings (GST, ROS, returns).
• Support budgeting and forecasting with historical data and trends.
