Job summary

Singapore Management University is seeking an Accounts & Compliance professional to process invoices and claims in line with policies, maintain vendor records, and analyse data for dashboards and reports.

You will support month-end close, assist audit processes, and collaborate with IT to improve payable workflows. Strong Excel and BI tool experience are preferred, with relevant degree qualifications.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Accountancy, Business, or related discipline, or pursuing CA qualifications with ISCA.

Responsibilities

• Compliance: Process invoices/claims per policies and procedures.
• Maintenance of Master Records: Update vendor master records and data integrity.
• Data Analytics and Dashboarding: Analyse data and prepare dashboards for reporting.
• Reporting: Support month-end/year-end close, prepare audit schedules and reconciliations.
• Governance: Support queries from internal/external audit.
• Collaborate with Other Departments: Pay vendors promptly and streamline payable processes.
• Customer service: Handle enquiries from stakeholders and resolve queries promptly.
• Process Optimization: Improve payable processes with IT for efficiency.
• Policy Review: Refine policy to strengthen control.
• System Implementation and Upgrades: Plan and execute system deployments with minimal disruption.
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Coordinate UAT for new systems/features.
• Other duties as assigned.
