Job summary

Allied World is seeking a Finance Operations professional to join the team reporting to the Assistant Finance Manager. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders and support day-to-day activities.

The role focuses on unallocated receipts, disputes, claims processing, and monthly/quarterly reporting, with opportunities to contribute to AR improvements and finance transformation projects.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Finance or Accounting is required.
• More than 3 years in Finance Operations; insurance industry experience is advantageous.
• Hands-on, meticulous with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
• Experienced in handling high-volume transactions.
• Strong communication with internal/external stakeholders and a good team player.
• Aptitude for learning new business/accounting procedures and technology.

Responsibilities

• Match unallocated receipts promptly.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve disputes and maintain unallocated receipts.
• Process claims, premium refunds and commissions.
• Assist in monthly/quarterly operation reports and ensure timely delivery.
• Identify opportunities to improve AR processes.
• Support finance transformation projects as needed.
• Assist with internal and external audit requests.
• Cover for team members when absent.
• Perform other ad hoc tasks as assigned.

Job Summary

This role involves working as part of the Finance Operations team where you will be reporting to the Assistant Finance Manager. You will be working closely with both internal and external stakeholders. This role also required to support Assistance Finance Manager with the day-to-day activities.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure unallocated receipts are matched on a timely basis
• Working with internal and external stakeholders to resolve disputes and maintain unallocated receipts to an acceptable level
• Processing of claims, premium refund and commissions
• Assist Assistant Finance Manager in the preparation and analysis of monthly/quarterly Operation reports and ensuring reports are delivered within the closing timeline
• Identify opportunities to improve AR processes
• Support implementation of finance transformation projects when required
• Assist with internal and external audit requests.
• Cover for team member when he/she is absence
• Perform other ad hoc tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Diploma in Finance or Accounting
• More than 3 years in Finance Operation. Prior working experience in Insurance industry is an advantage
