Job summary

Security and Intelligence Division is seeking professionals to perform wide-ranging finance functions, including accounts payable/receivable, while ensuring fiscal governance. Qualifications

  • Singapore Citizens only.
  • Fresh diploma graduates and mid-careers welcomed.
  • At least one year of working experience, preferably in the Singapore Public Service.
  • Qualified in accountancy or related field; ACCA/LCCI desirable.
  • Proficient with SAP, RPA, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure payments to vendors and internal stakeholders are accurate and timely.
  • Communicate and provide advice on finance processes to internal stakeholders.
  • Closely monitor SID’s financial obligations and assets.
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure seamless processing of financial transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with government financial rules and internal policies.
  • Contribute to initiatives that support improvements of financial systems.
  • Provide technical and strategic leadership for a team.
  • Design and implement workplace processes for future needs.
  • Plan and guide your team’s growth in general and technical areas.
  • Build relations with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members.

Job description

You will conduct a wide range of finance functions, such as accounts payable and accounts receivable, in support of SID operations. You will also ensure proper fiscal governance in SID.

What you will be working on
  • Ensure payments are made accurately and on time to vendors and internal stakeholders
  • Communicate and provide advice on finance processes to internal stakeholders
  • Closely monitor SID’s financial obligations and assets
  • Work with relevant stakeholders to ensure seamless and efficient processing of financial transactions
  • Ensure compliance with government financial rules and internal policies
  • Contribute to initiatives that support continuous improvement of financial systems and processes
