Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance required; professional qualification preferred.
• 8+ years of finance and accounting experience, including 3–5 years in controllership or close-related roles.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and month-end close experience.
• Experience with shared services and regional finance teams in multinational settings.
• Manufacturing/semiconductor sector experience is advantageous.
• Proficient in SAP/SAP S/4HANA and Excel; automation tools a plus.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day finance and accounting operations (GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, intercompany, accruals, provisions).
• Lead monthly, quarterly and year-end closing to meet timelines and reporting requirements.
• Review financial results, reconciliations, and follow up on variances for financial integrity.
• Prepare management and statutory reporting, audit schedules, and cash flow information.
• Act as liaison between AEM Singapore and shared services and regional finance teams.
• Oversee intercompany transactions, eliminations, and related reconciliations.
• Support compliance with accounting standards, tax, and internal controls; audit readiness.
• Drive process improvements, end-to-end efficiency, and finance transformation initiatives including SAP S/4HANA.
• Collaborate with operations, procurement, and corporate finance to resolve issues.
