Job summary

Dyson Institute is seeking a seasoned finance professional to join the Global Supply Chain Fulfilment Finance team in Singapore. You will partner with Market Supply Chain teams to plan, manage and control costs, analyse drivers of results, and provide insights to senior management.

The role offers exposure to Dyson's global supply chain and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate has 7–8 years of relevant experience, a qualified accountant or equivalent postgraduate qualification,

Qualifications

  • Qualified Accountant or equivalent postgraduate qualification.
  • 7–8 years of relevant experience in finance for supply chain or operations.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to model data and present insights.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration across senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Market Supply Chain teams to plan, manage, and control supply chain costs.
  • Analyse drivers behind actual results and assess end-to-end impacts.
  • Lead interlocks with Supply Chain Operations, Global Logistics Procurement, and Global IBP Planning to monitor targets.
  • Improve processes to increase financial predictability and visibility of drivers.
  • Collaborate to optimize costs and lead times through operational efficiencies.
  • Lead RFP/RFQ processes as the primary finance owner with procurement teams.

About Us

The Global Supply Chain Fulfilment Finance team plans, manages, and controls Supply Chain costs in partnership with operational teams across assigned markets. Attention to detail and a high level of business partnership are essential, along with strong interpersonal and influencing skills to support a remote, diverse team. The incumbent will also undertake ad hoc analysis and projects, providing insightful data to support senior management decision-making at Dyson. This role offers strong exposure to Dyson’s Global Supply Chain functions and gives the incumbent a valuable opportunity to develop a deep understanding of Dyson Global Supply Chain. The role reports into the Director of Supply Chain Finance.

Accountabilities
  • Partner with the Market Supply Chain team to plan, manage, and control Supply Chain operations costs.
  • Analyse operational drivers behind actual results and assess potential end-to-end impacts.
  • Conduct regular interlocks with teams across Supply Chain Operations, Global Logistics Procurement, and Global IBP Planning to plan, monitor, and execute against targets.
  • Improve internal processes to enhance financial predictability and increase visibility of operational drivers.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain to optimise costs and lead times by driving operational efficiencies.
  • Lead RFP/RFQ process of the markets as the primary finance owner, partnering with procurement and Supply Chain Operations teams.

  • Quick to grasp concepts; skilled at modelling data meaningfully.
  • Proactive in proposing ideas and challenging the status quo.
  • Assertive; able to influence across functions and at senior levels.
  • Strong spoken and written English.
  • Operational discipline and ability to meet deadlines.
