The role supervises an accounting team, reviews financial results, and ensures compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations. Manufacturing exposure is preferred and flexibility for ad-hoc tasks is required.

Qualifications

• Strong grasp of full set of accounting and finance functions.
• Manufacturing sector experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards.
• Experience with journal entries, AR/AP, and cash flow forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accounting records are accurate and timely for monthly closing.
• Supervise financial operations and accounting staff.
• Review, analyze and report on financial results.
• Manage full set of accounting and finance responsibilities.
• Review journal entries, AR/AP ageing and stock ageing.
• Perform cash flow forecast.
• Facilitate external audits and liaise with auditors.
• Assess and improve internal controls per standards and tax rules.
• Handle ad-hoc assignments from Manager or CFO.
