Job summary

MCI CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Finance Director to lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. You will supervise AP/GL/payroll, manage cash flow and reporting, and ensure compliance with standards and tax rules in Singapore.

You will drive cost control, internal controls, and strategic financial initiatives across the organization, partnering with management and other departments to improve profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting is required; CPA or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant finance/accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
• Monitor financial performance and conduct budget vs actual and variance analysis.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support management decision-making.
• Oversee AP, GL, payroll accounting and month-end/year-end closing.
• Prepare and review management accounts and financial reports.
• Manage cash flow, liquidity and working capital.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax requirements and internal financial policies.
• Maintain strong internal controls, cost controls and financial risk management.
• Coordinate internal/external audits, tax matters and external financial stakeholders.
• Evaluate business opportunities, investments and projects from a financial perspective.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements and profitability enhancement.
• Partner with Management and other departments on business and strategic initiatives.
• Lead, supervise and develop the Finance team, including workload allocation and performance management.
• Improve finance processes, systems, reporting tools and controls.
• Participate in Management meetings and support ad-hoc finance and business projects.

• Working hours: Monday to Friday: 8:30 am to 5:45 pm, Alternate Saturday: 8:30 am to 12:30 pm
