Job summary

PUB, The National Water Agency in Singapore invites applications for a Finance Manager on a 9-month contract. The role focuses on coordinating the annual budget process, guiding department budget Justification and proper fund usage in line with financial policies.

The successful candidate will oversee OPEX performance, manage variances, and deliver timely tracking and reporting to support policy and operational decisions, while assisting budget reallocations as needed.

Qualifications

• University degree in Accountancy, Finance or Business.
• Strong grounding in management accounting principles and financial analysis.
• Hands-on attitude and willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Jointly manage and coordinate the annual organisational budget process.
• Partner with departments to guide budget justification, correct coding, and appropriate use of funds.
• Ensure robust OPEX oversight by monitoring budget performance, variances, and reporting.
• Support budget reallocation and virement exercises to optimise resources.
• Take on ad hoc duties relevant to department needs.
