Job summary

A leading human resource consultancy in Singapore is seeking a Manager to oversee daily accounting operations. The ideal candidate will hold an Accounting degree and have at least 4 years of managerial experience. Responsibilities include managing accounts receivable, general ledger, and fixed asset operations, while ensuring process improvements and liaising with auditors. Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with SAP or Workday are essential for this role. The position offers a salary of up to $6,000.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage daily AR, GL & Fixed Asset operations.
• Improve, streamline and automate processes
• Liaise with clients and service performance/improvement.
• Manpower & Resource Planning
• Liaise with internal/external auditors
• Month-end/year-end closing
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management

Job Requirements:

• Accounting degree and/or Certified Accountant qualification
• At least 4 years of managerial experience
• Work experience in shared service / public sector experience will be an advantage
• Proficiency in excel, preferably with SAP / Workday knowledge
• Good interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
• Must uphold strong code of work ethics, in particular confidentiality of information
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team
• Positive working attitude with a high level of initiative
• Detailed in administrative work
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Ability to lead a team of more than 10 staffs
