Job summary

Optiver Singapore is seeking a self-motivated Finance Manager on an 8-month contract to support the Financial Control agenda. Reporting to the Finance and Middle Office Team Lead, you will own month-end close, taxation, budgeting and treasury functions for Optiver’s Singapore entities.

You will drive automation initiatives with AI, partner with global Control Teams, and help deliver timely regulatory reporting while maintaining high control standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce or Business required.
• Singapore CA or international equivalent preferred.
• Experience with financial institutions and regulatory reporting is essential.
• Proven ability to design management reports and forecasts.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end close and internal/external financial reporting for Optiver’s Singapore entities.
• Manage tax accounting in partnership with Tax team (income tax, GST, transfer pricing).
• Design management reports and collaborate with business to build forecasts and budgets.
• Oversee treasury operations, cash forecasting and FX risk management.
• Support regulatory obligations and ensure timely, accurate reporting.
• Contribute to Finance Control Framework and risk management.
• Drive automation initiatives using AI and engage globally with Control teams.
• Document processes and ensure a smooth handover at contract end.
