Job summary

AMETHYST ASIA PARTNERS PTE. LTD. is seeking a Finance Manager for an eight-month contract based in Singapore. The role leads month-end closing for Singapore and Hong Kong entities, partners with the business on management reporting, budgets and forecasts, and oversees statutory reporting.

You will collaborate with Tax on income tax, GST and transfer pricing, manage treasury activities, and drive documentation and automation initiatives within a finance-forward, technology-driven workplace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related qualifications.
• At least 6 years of finance and accounting experience in financial institutions.
• Solid experience in statutory reporting.
• Good understanding of financial products.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Motivated, detailed-oriented, independent.
• Exposure or interest in a tech-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end closing for financial reporting for Singapore and Hong Kong entities.
• Partner with the business to prepare management reporting, budgets and forecasts.
• Cover statutory reporting for the Singapore entity, ensuring regulatory capital calculations and financial reporting inputs are accurate and on time.
• Collaborate with the Tax team to manage income tax, GST, transfer pricing, etc.
• Cover treasury operations such as cash and capital forecasting, liquidity, foreign exchange management.
• Work with other finance team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations control.
• Contribute to documentation and automation initiatives.
• Other ad-hoc duties related to finance and operations when necessary.
